The Walther ERK Emergency Rescue is a foldable rescue knife manufactured by the German company Umarex under the Walther brand.
The drop point blade is made of 440A stainless steel and has a black protective coating, which makes it more resistant to corrosive agents, making the knifesuitable for demanding everyday use.
Specially designed blade with concave grind has a slight bulge in the front half of the cutting edge and a serrations on the other half, which makes cutting fibrous materials almost effortless, making the knifeeasy to work in emergency situations.
Thefolding knifeopening mechanism with a disc tightened to the back of the blade allows for comfortable one-handed operating. The ergonomic handle of the knife consists of a steel frame with a liner lock and non-slip glass-fiber-reinforced plastic overlays.
The fluorescent inserts at critical points allows for proper orientation of the knife in the dark, so that the knifecan be used in virtually all conditions. The knife can be carried by means of a clip on the handle or by using the supplied nylon shell.
